What I want to say about this, I can't because I'm pretty sure I'd get banned from here and the internet in general.

So I'll just use this to express how I feel about it.

Sepuku was a means of redeeming oneself from perceived dishonor.  Is he saying that older people continuing to work incur dishonor by working?  There is not a significant population of youth to take care of the elderly population that was once common practice in Japan, so they kind of have to keep working.  There's probably a better way than suicide to remedy the issue, though.  I'm sure the elderly would love to retire given security in their retirement.

It's even worse...he wants mandatory euthanasia of the stubborn, older people who won't do it voluntarily.

He wants to try that with any of the stubborn, older folks I know and he'll be picking up his teeth with broken fingers.

And that's only if he doesn't get shot first.

Do you ever notice that people like this never volunteer to lead by example? They always want their life to be better by removing anyone but them.

I just looked this guy up online and I couldn't help but get the feeling he got stuffed in his locker a lot when he was in school.

And not just by the usual bullies either.

Like even the special education kids probably stuffed him in his locker as well.

Which probably explains why he's got this messed up idea in his head.

He got bullied a lot and now that he's in what he thinks is a high position in life, he figures he can get back at everyone he feels wronged him in the past by suggesting that mandatory euthanasia be implemented.

ETA: He's also got a smug look on his face in most photos that just screams "Please hit me as hard as you can."

Nah, I regularily got my head stuffed in the toilet in highschool and still never had the urge to euthanize my grandma.
