Plans for America's 250?

After much back and forth with the OL we have decided to spend the weekend at Graceland, as she has never been and they have nifty little holiday package at their guesthouse with lots of events. Being the king of Rock and Roll, his love of automobiles and firearms (300 custom guns in his collection) and his patriotism,  Elvis was nothing if not the embodiment of what it means to be American.

She was more concerned about some nutty attack on the holiday than I was and she originally wanted to stick close to home, but I have always been one to endorse living our best lives within reason. For example I would avoid DC next weekend even though I have spent several 4th holidays there during my misspent youth.

I was wondering what others were doing over the 250th holiday any special plans?
