Damn it.

Well, off I go to YouTube to listen to some ZZ Top in his memory.

ETA: Man, I haven't been this upset about a musician dying since Lemmy from Motorhead passed away.

We lose Joey Jordison and Dusty Hill, but yet somehow Keith Richards lives on. :gonk:

I was actually surprised he was still alive. I'd figured he'd died a few years ago.

Aww, man!  They were set to do a concert around here later this year.  (Tickets were a bit too pricey for me to go, but still...)

Grew up listening to their music quite a bit.  RIP.  :(

Just read a article about Dusty Hill.  He had health problems which included  a broken hip, dislocated shoulder and chronic Bursitis . His wife  thanked everyone for the outpouring of condolences. She stated he did not die in his sleep like originally reported. He woke her up in the middle of the night and they were just talking about stuff, he stopped talking and  just like that was gone.

That had to be hard on her.

One minute you're talking to your loved one and the next they're gone.
