There's a lot I'd really like to say, but instead I'll just suggest that if someone thinks it is okay to kill someone because of a difference of political opinion they need to do us a favor and suck-start a pistol.

Agreed. And in a similar apolitical vein, I'll add that we're living in an increasingly turbulent time when the appetite for solving differences through violent means is growing on all sides.  As preppers, it would be irresponsible not to take note of that and take steps to ensure personal safety in the weeks, months and (sadly) years ahead.

Like DarkAxel, there's so much more I could say -  about this heinous and cowardly crime in particular as well as the wider issue of political violence. But such discussions have no place here at UFOZS.
