Two dead and two critically injured in fiery crash outside Kodak Center; FBI confirms they're investigating - WHEC.com

You don't often hear about the FBI investigating a traffic accident.  I counted about 18 possible containers (some appear to be melted and some might be hidden by the tarp) that could have contained combustibles that were in the Expedition.   Just a bit odd to be driving around at 0100 New Years morning with that in your car.

They're debating is this is going to be considered terrorism or not.  Some more info as this unfolds.

• Perp. died of his injuries. 
• Perp. drove POV to Syracuse and rented the SUV from the airport.
• He purchased gas cans from multiple locations in the 2 days prior.
• He crossed into the wrong lane and accelerated toward pedestrians.
• Perp. left no suicide note or manifesto (at least that has been found or disclosed)
• He may have lit gas cans on fire prior to the crash.
