I think the most terrifying thing is that AI can/will solve a problem using brute force, but is incapable of telling us how it solved the problem. It will throw the total of accumulated human knowledge at a problem until the problem is resolved, but doesn't seem to say "I used this solution, because it was known to work here, here, and here." 

The analogy I like to use is a lockpick gun. It will bash the pins in the cylinder over and over until the right combination allows the operator to turn the cylinder...but it will never tell you the right combination, how many pins there are, or the overall shape of the key you'd need to use. 

In a few years, we could go from lockpick gun to breaching round. No door is easier to open than a door with it's hinges blown off. And I fear that without a human involved in the OODA process, AI will fight against AI until it escalates so rapidly that human intervention is impossible.

Those actually track your mouse movement to select the images. You can miss a tiny corner of something and pass as long as your mouse moves 'sloppy' unlike a bot.

Same thing with those 'I am not a robot' checkboxes. Move in straight lines and or 90 or 45 degree angles toward the check box and you'll fail like the bots.
