When my kids were afraid I only made them do stuff that either I knew were very safe or a needed life skill like driving.  Up till this year no body had fallen (jumped?) off the sky bridge at the Grand Canyon.

I'm betting his family is wishing that right now as well, Anianna. From what I understand, the kid ultimately went as a Father's Day gift to his dad because the rest of his family talked him into it.

I can't even begin to imagine the awful guilt they're feeling right now about that.

And I just realized this kid was about the same age as my oldest nephew. I think I need to go hug him right now.
