QuoteFuel rationing has been introduced in many regions, with hourslong queues of cars snaking beside roads.

So what's the strategy in a fuel crisis for getting fuel? Get in line when you're down to half tank so you're empty by the time you get up to the pump? That's basically doubling the cost per gallon as a cost of getting that gallon costs 1/2 gallon.

Turn your car off and on each time the line moves up a car length hoping your starter and battery makes it to the pump?

They could uninvade the Ukraine and call for a cease fire. Those dudes are MAF though. It is probably too late to pull out without a major route catastrophe if there is no ceasefire.  As per the article 1/3 of refining capacity is probably off line and possibly destroyed. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get any better.

After the Alaska summit the US media supported Putin's statements saying they had reached an agreement favorable to Russia despite the protestations of the US side. Putin finally admitted that there was no such deal and he had agreed to nothing. He has lost the bubble on this, the only question is how much pain are the Russians going to take before they go cra-cra and stage some kind of coup?

A mystery bettor has placed a $400K bet against Putin remaining in power after December 31st. These type bettors have often been found out to be intel analysts, so this might an interesting turn.

While a shortage of PAC 3 interceptors has led to an increase in civilian casualties, The Ukes are displaying a high degree of operational freedom in Moscow, St. Petersburg (pretty much anywhere within 2000 kilometers of the front) as well as in Crimea which is now prostate.

This is a great video on current adopted tactics such as attaching a drone to a helium balloon to vastly increase it's on station time and then "air launching" the drone from the balloon when it is the optimum time to strike a target. They have used this to strike tankers trying to provide fuel to Crimea.

The EU and NATO are meeting today to address logistics and among other things. Word of a secret delegation from Russia is rumored to be in the area perhaps to entreat for their terms.
