Anyone have a copy of World War Z by Max Brooks?

I don't do well with audio books. Prefer to read. The internet archive version is a limited release. Only part of the book. And you can rent the entire thing.

Out of curiosity, I searched on the book and "free epub" and came across this: https://bdebooks.com/en/books/world-war-z-by-max-brooks/ From what I was able to find, it's a legit site and they do offer a few different file types for download. It downloaded just fine as a .pdf for me.

I found that the other night. But could not get any of the download links to work. It just downloaded today! Lol. After I already bought it. Oh well. It's worth 10 bucks. Good read. I've heard good things about it. Like that it's way better than the movie. Seems good so far.

I'm glad you were able to track down a copy. I've read it numerous times and listened to it twice. I love how the storytelling perspective varies from housewives, to soldiers, to politicians...really everyone. I genuinely feel badly for everyone who saw the movie and never bothered with the book.

I know you said you don't do well with audiobooks, but the cast of readers is absolutely wild.

In no particular order, some of them are Nathan Fillion, Martin Scorsese, Simon Pegg, Mark Hamill, Denise Crosby, Jeri Ryan, Henry Rollins, Maz Jobrani, Jurgen Prochnow, Kal Penn, Dean Edwards, Frank Darabont, John Turturro, and Parminder Nagra.

The weird thing is that the voice actors sound like how I imagine the book characters sound. I listen to a bunch of audio books, and that's a rare thing.
