Finally got it!

In today's mail, I finally got a replacement for something that I earned more than 45 years ago, and which I'd lost in the 1999 fire that left me living homeless on the streets of NYC... my USN Honorable Discharge certificate.

I've been trying to get a replacement for this for the last 20 years, and all I ever managed to get out of the National Records Center was copies of my service record and copies of my DD-214.

I'll post photos once I have it properly framed.
