This will supposedly take the stink out of even poly long underwear. And anything else.

This is just one man's anecdotal review of an ozone machine. But I trust him. He's a fairly famous high level SOF guy. Who teaches tactics and shooting. And is funnier than hell.

But he details several examples of him using this for elk hunting clothing. As advised by his guides camp. They literally use these every night to get human smell out of all their clothing.

Then he details it's use on his jui jitsu clothing and workout clothing. Alot of which is synthetic. Including his non wool socks. Even his bedding in his RV.

Interesting product. Would be great for hiking and work clothes.

Yes, ozone will deodorize and kill bacteria, but it's not safe for pets or people to be in a closed space with it.  When I use ozone (I use a UV bulb lamp that creates ozone), I close it in a room with a smart switch so I can turn it off remotely and we stay away from it for a period of time so it can safely dissipate.

If you want to use ozone safely for clothes, aqueous ozone is safe as the ozone is contained in a liquid state.  You can get an aqueous ozone system for the washer that generates the aqueous ozone as the water is pulled.  Aqueous ozone works best on cold water, so this also cuts down electricity from using hot water.

This technology is a natural sanitizer with component parts safe for the environment and has been used in the hospitality and medical fields to render linens safe for use by a multitude of customers and patients for decades before it was available to the general public.  I had spent years trying to get urine and teen funk smells out of our laundry and nothing worked until I got my aqueous ozone machine (I got mine from O3 Waterworks, but there are other companies and you can find some on Amazon).  With wool balls for the dryer, I never have to buy laundry products again.  In seven years, I've only bought a bucket of citric acid as it can boost the effects for particularly challenging loads.

I also bought their aqueous ozone generating spray bottles for housecleaning and for produce.  During our water outage this past week, I used the aqueous ozone spray as a hand cleaner.  There is not a lot of research on this use, but the research that has been done supports its efficacy and safety (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37451808/  &  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38558144/).
