I wanted to share my thoughts on this day pack and my thoughts on the company in general. This bag does double duty as my day hiking pack and my GHB.

I have handfull of things from Helikon and I like them all. I want a tarp from them next. But this pack in particular is well thought out with two full length compartments with a bladder in the sleeve in the larger one and an "admin" section in the same large pocket. Pretty standard right? I guess what makes this pack stand out is to me is comfort but to a more then that ts very strong and I tossed it down some canyons when shale was too sharp and I was scared of losing my balance. It always holds up. I wouldnt have any worries with this pack that i wouldnt have with a surplus pack. This pack can be had for less then $100 US and is well worth it. One of my favorite things about Helikon is they make stuff in some obscure camos like DNC which works well enough where I live (its just two shades of green) and also looks cool when im just hiking. Just wanted to throw some thoughts out there for consideration.
