3m Dual Lock. Better than velcro.

Its like velcro but no fuzzy side. In fact its the same on both sides. I dont know how much lbs of force to unlock this stuff. But its alot. Hes used it on his motorcycle helmet. Ive used it before. But never knew what it was called. I have 2 strips of it in my bob. Its excellent alternative to velcro. Stronger and lasts longer.

It is good stuff. I used some of ot (or something remarkably similar) ~10 years ago to stick a GPS holder to the dashboard of my car. It was far better than Velcro-style hook-and-loop fastener would have been, giving a much more positive connection with essentially no movement.

The only problem I had was that in hot weather the glue would soften and, because the holder wasn't perfectly balanced, it would sag over.

Hot weather is uncommon enough in the UK that this was hardly ever an issue  :D
