Paul Harrell died.

If you never watched him he was a guntuber. Not sure how long he had been doing it. But I've been watching his channel for decades. He was a very level headed gun YouTuber. He did reviews and talked about tactics. He was a really sweet, nice guy. I really his vudeos. And especially him personally.

He recorded this video prior to his death. To be published upon his death. It was posted 6 hours ago.

I saw the video the other day and was surprised. Based upon previous videos to his channel i knew his death was imminent. Still it is a shock.

It's definitely a loss to the community. The guy had a way of presenting information that was really straightforward, interesting, and steered well clear of politics. It's a rare thing to find someone so full of information and humility at the same time.

I've seen a few comments about Paul Harrell calling him "The Mr. Rogers/Bob Ross/Steve Irwin of the gun community".

Seems to be a pretty fitting description of Paul Harrell to me.

My favorite video of him was where he tested the common wisdom that a .22lr is more effective on a target than harse words. He yelled at a tin can...obviously nothing happened. He them shot the can with the .22lr and the can was knocked off the table..

There was hard proof that a .22lr is more effective than harsh words.

He reminded me of a wiser, simpler time. I could never put a finger on it. But he just made you feel like a wiser, calmer mind was giving you advice. And somehow had your back. Ya. He was old school. And didn't really give much advanced, modern tactical, advice. But it was like going shooting with your favorite uncle.

He will be missed. One of the first to die of the Guntuber generation.

Well you do the same description dozens of times for each video you get pretty good at it.
