I'm starting to try and get this place better organized and make things easier to find.  Every topic on the site has a message icon associated with it.  These can be changed from the default when you post a new topic, or later on by modifying the topic (does not work with quick-edit, just modify).

Going forward when you post a review of something please do it in its own topic, start the title with "Review: " then the title (use the name/model from the manufacturer if possible) and select the rating level you feel is appropriate for the item.

What about those multiple review threads like @EBuff75 's power station one? Are we still allowed those?

I'll allow them (hell, just about any content y'all want to post is welcome... except Zardoz, that's too much) but individual topics for single items with message icons to indicate the rating should also be done where possible.

Think of it this way, the longer, multiple-item topics and chats have their purpose from a broad educational perspective for a category of items, while individual reviews of specific items make it easier for a member to find information about one item that might be on page 22 of a 40 page topic.

My thought is as long as it's in the "Electric Power" subforum, it's already sufficiently classified that we don't need to further bury a specific review in a multiple review thread.  If a multi-review topic becomes even somewhat lengthy, the back and forth discussion can make it challenging to follow what product among many the participants are currently talking about.

Starting a title with the word "Review:" seems like adequate organization as long as it's in the right subforum.

Just to be sure we're talking the same thing:
Do you mean the 74 Sci-fi film Zardoz with Sean Connery?  :icon_crazy:
