Last week, My AO experienced catastrophic flash flooding that killed at least 37 people and left hundreds homeless (https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/01/weather/kentucky-appalachia-flooding-monday/index.html). Whole neighborhoods were wiped out. Roads, bridges, homes, schools, and infrastructure like power lines and water mains were completely destroyed. There are still people missing.
