When he busted out the wire saw, I actually laughed. This thing is a hilt-mounted liquid compass and fishing kit away from the Rambo knives they sell at the state fair.

The messed up thing is there's even dumber "survival" tools being marketed today.
They don't cost as much as this goofy shovel thing, though. So this still wins the "Most expensive, completely useless piece of crap tool" award.
If it wasn't so expensive, I can totally see it being sold at Harbor Freight or in the BudK catalog.
