Title: Cheap blankets or other material for dog beds?
Post by: Moab on February 02, 2022, 01:22:05 AM

Looking for cheap fleece or sherpa type blankets, moving blankets, or wool blankets for my dogs beds.

Gonna check out local goodwill and similar. But thought someone else might have a source online. Or another good idea for cheap dog bedding. Can be fugly. Lol. Just for dogs.

Harbor Freight used to sell cheap wool blend moving blankets. But out of stock. They were like 5 bucks each.

Sorry for putting this here. Couldnt find an off topic section. But i saw reviews on harbor frieght where people were using the $5 wool blend blankets in there cars for emergencies.

Try Family Dollar or Dollar General if there's one in your AO. They tend to have some cheap fleece or sherpa type blankets on sale fairly often.

Walmart has some cheap blankets too.  I've picked them up to toss into bags before, just as a lightweight blanket which I wouldn't feel bad about getting ruined / lost.

I found these that a friend uses every year. They look pretty good.

These are supposed to be killer blankets at walmart for $8.88!

And these dog beds at of all places home depot.

Big Lots tends to have a bunch of fleece or sherpa blankets as well. Especially around the holidays.

After the holidays are over, Big Lots clearances out most of them for a couple bucks a pop.

We used old socks, towels, and clothes that weren't really wearable anymore and sewed them into some old flannel sheets for our doggo after she was forever digging out laundry to lay on.  We had bought her her own bed, but she wanted to sleep on the mound of clothes and sheets, so we turned that into a bed for her.
