So short summary:
Labor costs are being driven higher but the jobs are being filled.
Some of the cost increases (but no all) will be offset by eliminating inefficiencies caused by labor shortage.
If you pay people more and give them flexibility to work a schedule that works for both employer & employee that seems to deal with the labor shortage.
The supply chain issues are not going away any time soon.
