huh. Maybe they're crowd sourcing ideas due to the pinch they're in with the scarcity of their primary product income? Maybe trying ways to adapt while things are unstable?
I have no knowledge of any of this apart from your post but that's what first came to mind when reading it. Just an uneducated flitter of thought though.
