Title: Windows 11 - Anyone using it?
Post by: Raptor on November 15, 2021, 05:54:14 PM
I am looking for feedback from anyone using Windows 11 on any compatibility issues and problems with it.

What say the other ZS'ers is it worth converting sooner rather than later?

It's been offered to me on this laptop (though not currently, which is odd) and I plan to try it on here as soon as my desktop PC is up and working again.  It was also offered on my very old Panasonic Toughbook (Intel Core 2 and 4GB of memory - absolute lower end of acceptable hardware) that started out as Vista Business then upgraded from that to 7, 8, and currently 10 Pro but I think that's asking too much from the poor thing, though it is a heckuva sturdy little machine..  (It's the machine I use for programming radios in the field.)

Currently installing it on my HP laptop that I've been using to logon here the past week or two while my desktop PC was being upgraded.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Edit: Still installing.  Currently at about 25%... for the third time.

Wife's first comment, "It's just like my Chromebook!"  :smiley_nah:

Hey MS stole the WYSISYG interface from apple who stole it from Xerox.
Why not steal the Chrome book interface from google?

Maybe it will work better than other MS new products.
