If robots with AI, or AGI, start walking down the streets around me, my first plan will be to treat them politely and with respect.
My actions beyond that will depend on their behavior, same as anyone else walking down the street.
Though I confess I have become less opposed to the development of EMP weaponry the last few years.
Honestly, I'm more concerned about civilization not remaining stable long enough to allow the development of widely available AI/AGI. I can't help but wonder if we're on the verge of the bronze age collapse worrying about the possible development of a printing press.
Edit to add: I hope we make it far enough to have to legitimately worry about this.
As Long as they are alcohol powered we should be fine...

But what will we do about all the petty theft?
What is this "if" you speak of?
