You know when you come back to a thread from "show new replies from your posts"? Or an email link? And it takes you to the exact post you havent seen yet? Is that in the plans for the future? Or is my theme killing that? Cant tell if im in mobile or desktop. But its not working.
It's already built into the system and should be working for you. It's done with a cookie though, and your browser may be refusing it. Check your cookie settings and see if that's it.

I set cookies in chrome to accept all. Reloaded chrome. Still doesnt work. Weird. Ill keep trying.

It might possibly be that something you're doing is resetting the "highest message read" number in that cookie. For example, going to read the last message posted first now sets the flag to that message number. Sorta like climbing a building straight to the tenth floor means you've already passed the sixth.
