What do you want us to wipe from your computer?

What do you want us to wipe from your computer?
Scans of my passport and other similar personal data someone could use for identity theft before the computer is sold and the money goes to my loved ones.
Seriously, I cannot think of anything embarrassing or creepy on my computer. I'm pretty boring that way.
Don't worry about wiping your computer though. We'd likely just drop thermite on all the servers. Nobody stocks enough bleach to scrub ourselves clean if we tried manually wiping them. :eek1: :greenguy:

No worries. There's two different anti-tamper systems on my PC that will wipe the drives like the mother of all EMP blasts. Degaussing coils are fun to build! :awesome:

The hidden folder named "Tax returns 1990-1999" :smiley_washing:
The one marked skynet_aware/launch exe.

It should. :smiley_devil:
Maybe we could auction it off to pay the bar bill at the wake?

Twice. Once for who gets to see it first...the second time for who doesn't have to see it at all.

Sounds like I won't have needed to use the thermite on NT2Cs hardware, so I'll have more than enough left over to spare us from Lamby.

As someone who's penciled around with this, I wanna see some architecture and notes!

Oh no you don't... Not gonna make it
that easy for someone to figure out how to bypass the system. :smiley_nah:
I just encrypt everything, then put anything important in an encrypted container. If a nation-state actor wants the data they'd be able to get it elsewhere anyway, so encryption'll handily deter any lesser thieves.
I mean, we're all still vulnerable to the $5 wrench bypass (https://xkcd.com/538/).

Then the encryption's sufficient. :D
When I was working in Iraq we had a rule, if someone bought the farm their computer got a full wipe before it was sent home to next of kin.
Wives, children, and parents didn't need to be seeing girlie pictures.
Or Hubby see beefcake.
Really, anything you want others to have should be on an external drive clearly marked and labeled (obviously this is regarding personal systems, work/research related is a different critter entirely).
Just my fingerprints from the keyboard. The browsing history get's deleted regularly and could plausibly be anyone else's, should someone have the need view anything that remains.
I don't store anything personal or incriminating on mine, so.

As for mine ... good luck with getting the data I use one of the RSA random number generator key fobs which generates a new key fob code every 2 minutes.
In the end. It always comes back to
