Title: Meteorite over New England Today (30 MAY 2026)

According to preliminary reports submitted to the American Meteor Society, dozens of people across the Northeast reported seeing the fireball around 2 p.m. Saturday. Sightings stretched across multiple states, helping scientists piece together the meteor's path through the atmosphere.   (https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/massachusetts-coast-meteor-explodes-loud-boom/)

It burned up before it hit anything, so the odds of it containing The Blob are almost nil. 

But still...

I discussed this on Facebook with one of our people on the ground there in New England, @Lambykins   This is what she told me:

Me: You had chili and faced Canada, didn't you?

Lamby: Tacos with a large side of refried beans actually

So, there you have it, mystery solved.
