Title: Project Farm reviews household water filters - Very Impressive!
Post by: majorhavoc on March 01, 2026, 01:28:18 PM
Any experts here that can advise whether there are any major flaws in PF's testing methodology?  Because if not, I'm an idiot for buying Brita products all these years.  I'll be switching to ZeroWater for day-to-day water filtration.

I swear if I buy anything I check his channel first to see if he's done a test on that product. His high pitched voice annoys the hell out of me. Lmao! But what a brilliant guy. He separates so much fact from fiction. It's refreshing. He's done all the real research so you don't have too.

This is one channel though that I wish AI Summarize was turned on for. I know he probably gets paid more based on people's time spent actually playing his videos. But I rarely have time to sit thru an entire one. If he simply published his top 3 with charts and why. I'd pay for that service.

The only fallibility I've ever seen. Is if he misses a top product in a genre he isn't as well versed on. He recently did a comparison of battery stations. But one was almost twice the capacity of all the others. So it wasn't a clearly apples to apples comparison. But a rigid, thorough testing.

A couple tests he's left out products I thought should have been in the running. But all in all no one does this better. I think this is a service people would literally pay for. If your like me (and most of us around here) you refuse to spend money without at least understanding what your buying. And where it falls in the spectrum of price and quality. That often requires a lot of time and energy. His efforts are extremely valuable.

You can always just skip to the end.  His summary findings start at 19:23

That's what I usually do. I stop at all his charts. But the last one doesn't always tell the whole story. Lots of good info in each chart. But it would be way to cool to have a short summary/narrative like AI. That summarize feature saves me so much time not having to watch hours of videos. Lol. I'm a lazy researcher.

All YouTube videos now allow you to summarize with AI. Just click the summarize field at the bottom of each "more" page.

This is super handy. And saves a SHIT TON of time!

And quite honestly this guy's voice is so shrill I can barely stand to listen! Lmao! 😂 But you gotta love this guy. Easily the best reviewer of all time!
