So Amazon now has 37% of the world cloud computing services. Not bad for a book selling company. The last 32 hours have seen major connectivity issues. I am not sure if there is a target here but the US Army definitely is one of their larger customers. Who else has been effected? Well practically everyone:
QuoteAlong with Amazon's own services, users reported issues with the likes of banks, airlines, Disney+, Snapchat, Reddit, Lyft, Apple Music, Pinterest, Fortnite, Roblox and The New York Times
That is just the "short list". The longer list is practically everyone on the planet even if in small ways.

My company isn't affected (we use a different company for our networking / cloud), but many of the companies that we're integrated with are having issues. Of course, one of my projects has just launched today, but so far the impact on it appears minimal. *fingers crossed*
Somewhat humorously, I was just in one of my regular meetings and some people in it said they have been "monitoring" the Amazon outage by periodically asking Alexa to do something to see if they get any response! :smiley_clap:
I dated a woman whose whole house was wired to Alexa. She loved it. I kept thinking what would happen if it all suddenly stopped working and she would have to turn off and on appliances, lights, ceiling fans, alarms etc manually.
Other than my wife having issues with Snapchat and some buddies mentioning it the Signal chat, I wouldn't have even known anything happened.
