Title: May 2025 Tornado outbreak in Easter Kentucky and Missouri
Post by: DarkAxel on May 18, 2025, 07:28:00 PM
At least 28 dead as tornadoes, storms batter states from the Heartland to the East Coast (https://abcnews.go.com/US/dozen-people-dead-states-storms-hold-americas-heartland/story?id=121901123#:~:text=Suspect%20identified%20in%20blast%20outside%20Palm%20Springs,Missouri%2C%20Illinois%20and%20one%20from%20New%20Jersey.)

Big tornado outbreak Friday night/Saturday morning. Something like 26 confirmed tornadoes total. 19+ confirmed deaths in Kentucky with many still missing. London Kentucky area hit hard.

If anyone wants to help the folks of Laurel County/London KY, The United Way of Laurel County is the official place for financial donations. Here is the GoFundMe set up for online donations. There are also local churches and other groups setting up to provide relief, and I'll post more links as more groups get organized.

Other areas may need assistance as well. I hear Missouri and Virginia lost some folks too.

Scary stuff, especially since part of the area is where my wife and I were looking to move to.
