I'm sure swinging anything for several frantic hours would be exhausting but I still laugh at how dainty most historical hammers and mace were. No wonder Warhammer guys require power armor!

Ok so something in my projects folder of fun but dumb stuff to make are hammers. Ok so I'm a carpenter by trade and have hammers. I want to take one of my old 24oz california frammers and put a 24"  boys ax handle on it for combat funsies. Then i want to take another 24oz head and make it into a walking cane for elegant combat funsies. I have taken a crappy 1 1/4 lb hatchet and hung it on a 24" boys ax handle. Steel rolls when ya chop oak, but it handles well not heavy and can chop ( the action at least or into soft wood) well.
