MFJ (and its subordinate brands) is/was the main source for a lot of the gear that we hams use and rely upon.  Things like antennas, rotators, tuners, switches, amplifiers, switch boxes, power strips, analyzers, TNCs, etc.  It all came from MFJ or one of its companies.  In terms of impact it would be like waking up one day and finding out Vista Outdoors was shutting down and taking all its brands with it.

I had placed an order back in April for a digital encoder/decoder that plugged right into radios using the K plug found on many HTs.

MFJ refunded it today.  :(
