I think that's Paint3D. Simultaneously press the
Windows key and
R, in the resulting
Run dialogue enter
mspaint, then press
<enter>. That should bring up ye olde Paint.
Though if you're up for a bit of learnin', Paint.net is a great (and free for personal use) product. It's sorta halfway between the major pro players (like Photoshop) and Paint. Being able to work on layers, alone, is worth it in my book.

Man, logos are tough though. As iconic as it is now to people involved, in the early days of ZS everyone thought it was a sideways NIN sticker. Coming up with a new design that is also not a copy of something existing and also easy to recognize is a challenge. I'll see if I can be helpful in the next few days and see if anything neat comes up on my sketch pad. (I'm a terrible artist so I'm not expecting much, lol)

3. What is logo used for, the website banner (fulllscreen)? website logo only? size requirements?
4. Do you want image and text logo, or just one or the other?

- Image only for now as text can always be added as a layer if needed

ETAIt helps he has really good equipment. But he has an eye for the shot. Amazinly even like in that first pic. That was taken in pitch dark. No lights for miles. You can see the nearest lights on the horizon

But if I have a starship and really want to stock it, I'd be willing to make extremely different financial decisions at that point.

Okay, after careful consideration by the judges of the various bribes and promises submissions...
We have a tie! sorta
We feel that the logo Rick and Lamby both worked on is the best of all the submissions. Accordingly, I had to find a prize for Lamby, who does not drink coffee. I could give her the BRCC canteen-style water bottle (see original post for links) but that didn't seem like much of a first place prize so, instead, I've chosen to arm her... with a Knife/Slingshot combination thingy! (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B081SQHBG9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I picked it up from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. It's a nice size pocket knife with a wickedly fast opening and an honest-to-(insert deity here) slingshot attachment that securely locks into the butt.
In second place we decided that Rick's solo offering was a great secondary logo for us so he's getting the water bottle along with the coffee press.
In third place, Ani's submission was nice and simple but the the "ZS" was a bit too much reference to that place we came from. We're going to try and modify it a little to make it somehow "less". Ani wins the 32GB thumb drive (which is really pretty sweet as these are very tiny and can be left plugged into a laptop or, as is my case, plugged into an automotive stereo system with all my tunes on it).
I have mailing addresses for both ladies (pretty sure I have Ani's new address) and will get their prizes out ASAP, but I'll need an address for Rick.

Well, it's more an estimation of bail based on past history, likely severity of the offense, probability of trying to cop a feel of the arresting officer(s)/bailiff/judge, etc.
I like the new logo. But might want to rethink a first prize that could conceivably be used to contest the dollar amount of the award :clownshoes:
