With much of the U.S. currently still enduring a deadly and dangerous deep freeze, it's hard to believe how warm most areas are expected to be this week.

Ya. It was sunny and warm here today. Had to turn the ac on.
Still kind of chilly here, but the temperature is supposed to be going back up this coming week.
We're still cold at the moment (24F right now), but we're supposed to be up to 70F by the end of the week. It's nuts.
Yesterday it was 72F here (Michigan). Today, there are flurries, it's currently 28F, and it's supposed to bottom out around 22F tonight. That'll be a 50 degree temperature swing in a 24hr period!
Supposed to be in the mid-50's today which is a freaking heatwave for Maine this time of year. Raining all day, gale force winds and flood warnings state-wide.
Then it's supposed to drop to the single digits tonight. Looks like I'll be commuting to work tomorrow on ice skates. :rolleyes1:

Got the same thing happening on this side of our communal state line.
