I guess in show business, you always need someone to manage publicity, fan relations and royalties even if you've been retired for decades. Either that or she was one of those lucky souls who kept doing what she loved right up to the end of life.

Lone Star Cafe bought all the pinball machines and video games in their upstairs arcade from Novell Amusements on 10th Avenue in NYC (area called Pinball Alley). I was Novell Amusements head technician. I used to go to the Lone Star pretty often, and after I finished what I was called to fix it was usually quitting time so, being single, I'd just hang out in the bar and drink the free beers they kept giving me. Lone Star became a favorite of mine (the cafe and the beer). Kinky and his band (The Texas Jewboys) often played there and Kinky was writing
A Case of Lone Star at the time and he'd often hold court in the bar and discuss books, politics, music and I'd usually catch up with him when the crowd thinned and we'd tell jokes to each other and try not to let beer come out our noses. He was a very cool dude. About ten years older than me and he often called me a kid, but he liked that I was a vet, and that I had the keys to all the games.

Most people might not be familiar with the experiment, but Philip Zimbardo, who conducted the 'Stanford Prison Experiment (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_prison_experiment)' back in 1971 has just passed away at 91. His experiment remains very controversial (and was cut short due to issues during the testing), right up there with the better known 'Obedience to Authority (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment)' experiment by Stanley Milgram. We had to study both during the psychology classes that I took in college. They both deal with how people in power can act toward those whom they have power over.

She was awesome in "Young Frankenstein". Probably my most favorite role of hers.
ETA: With her death, that just leaves Gene Hackman as the last surviving main cast member of "Young Frankenstein".
There might be some secondary cast members still around, but of the main cast it's just Gene Hackman. And he's up there in age too, so his number may be up at some point in the future as well.
