Title: Mil-dot monoculars
Post by: Dabster on September 13, 2023, 12:27:09 PM
I must confess that I am a bit of a sniper-poser-fanboy. I have been for years. Back in the day mil-dots were the height of technology. Lasers & etc have significantly replaced mil-dots but I think they are still studied for backup purposes. For me mil-dot scopes were fun to shoot and fun to use for range estimation. However it is hard to take my scoped rifle anywhere normal. I could get mil-dot binoculars but they're too expensive. Then I saw this:

This looks like the best of all worlds. Does anyone here have one? How do you like it? Is it hard to hold steady enough to accurately measure things at distance?

Also that YT channel is worth a look. Young guy but great content. No affiliation.

Thanks,
