Oddly, I heard a puma out in the back of my hotel this morning while I was getting the Jeep ready to load. Sounded pretty close too.

Isn't this how every werewolf movie begins?
The lions of Tsavo didn't have manes either. Just saying

I'm on the other end of the country, but whoever that lioness is, she is welcome to help herself to as many wild boar as she can catch. We are massively behind. Those pigfuckers reproduce like crazy.
I live about 1 mile away from what used to be a Safari Park which had a pride of Lions in an enclosure that people drove through, on a clear day you could easily hear them roaring🦁
My father-in-laws cousin Davy was the head lion keeper who had hand reared most of them as cubs and he often walked through their enclosure to check on them :eek1:
Once or twice a lion did escape but Davy was good at getting them back again without incident. Beyond people's pets, and also livestock, the escaped Lions could have hunted Deer.

Now it looks like it might actually have been a boar, not a lion.

Li-boar? Li-oar? Boar-ion? Bo-ion? Not sure that wereboar counts when it shifts between two different animals. :awesome:

Also, BBC just couldn't leave out this gem:
Officers were not amused when young people started playing loud roaring lion sounds on a speaker near to the area where the search was going on.

I dunno, sounds like a displacer beast to me and they just have no idea what they're looking at.

Well if they haven't caught it , how do they know it has ill manners?
I met two Germans in the supermarket this morning, on vacation here from Berlin. They didn't believe me about the lion. :smiley_shrug:
