This just raised the value of our domain name considerably.

edit: Go Daddy says we're up to about $2,000, so probably an actual value of about $150

Assuming this report is correct and the claims are true, what is the hive mind opinion of this and the impact of the following:

1. This fact has been covered up for decades.
2. That materials  "of exotic origin (non-human intelligence, whether extraterrestrial or unknown origin) based on the vehicle morphologies and material science testing and the possession of unique atomic arrangements and radiological signatures,"  has been in possession and studied for decades.

My $0.02:
Item 1 would not surprise me at all. In fact if item 2 is true it is the most likely thing to occur.

Item 2 on the other hand I think would be more earthshaking. I am not really sure where that would lead.

I always assumed that extraterrestrial life does exist but when it showed up, it would be like Columbus and would likely lead to an extinction event.

Makes the whole Bob Lazar story more plausible, don't it?

And I'd hope any species capable of such a journey would also be smart enough to take precautions against such an event.

But no physical evidence.

IMO opinion the only reason beings so advanced that they have the technology to safely transverse the distances between planets would come here is because we have something they want or they want to see if we have something they want.

That desired item will dictate their approach. It would clearly be something of value to them or they would not exert the effort. Their desperation/desire for that item will also dictate their response if we say no.

Think of Montazuma telling Cortez no you cannot have our gold.

I don't know if you have been keeping up with current events but we already in the middle of an extinction level event. The amount of dead animals and plant life in the last 150 years rivals anything the dinosaurs saw.

In a Matrix type unintended consequences type moment solar production is way down from the Canadian Fires. Temperatures dropped as well but people need electricity for more than AC>

Wildfire smoke slashed solar power generation (msn.com) (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/wildfire-smoke-slashed-solar-power-generation/ar-AA1crZp2?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=f671c5a951334b64a5f036a71fc3e38f&ei=49)

Take note of that if we ever encounter a nuclear/ volcanic winter event.
