Title: I'm completely intrigued by this, Adventure blanket
Post by: flybynight on May 28, 2023, 05:23:35 PM
His cost ( while undoubtably fair ) is much more than I would want to spend. I could build one for less than half that cost.  I like this idea

It reminds me of the old cowboy bedrolls. I would make it so the wool blanket attaches to the oilcloth by buttons rather than sewing the two together. That would give the option of replacing the wool with a cotton sheet for warmer weather use. You could also stuff leaves in between the canvas and wool for more insulation.
I'd also want a horse to carry it! Lol

Yea, not something I'd want attached to my pack. But it would be great in your vehicle/BOV
