I keep multi step or rarely used skill techniques, useful info, and inventory lists in a 1" binder I keep in my EDC bag.
Divided into 5 categories, YMMV.
Examples:
Best way to clean a _________. [insert game animal here.]
Water filtration system
BOB BOAT VERK inventory lists
Long term food checklists
Fires starting techniques and finding starter kindling and types.
Useful Knots
Etc.
Mine just has what I don't have committed to memory but might need if there was a catastrophe. Most of the stuff in here is also on a jump drive and HDD's but just in case an EMP caused the event... I have a hardcopy.

This binder is separate from my important documents archive such as birth certificates, titles, etc. I don't carry those with me.
