For those of us who traffic in the lower end of the flashlight spectrum. Unlike NT2C and his pathological obsession magnificent quest for ever more power.
Not sure this was ever worth its $30 regular price but seems to be a good buy at nearly a third that. Some good features: 4 modes, magnetic base, removable pocket clip, IPX65 water resistance and rotating 90 - 180 deg head.
Claimed 600 lumen max output requires a 14500 rechargable lithium ion battery (not included). Max output is a modest 250 lumens on a single AA battery.
If nothing else, follow the link for an entertaining product description. Battery choice is touted as "dual fuel" that "provides more possibilities for long carport working". Magnetic base and steel clip "really releases your hands". Those 4 modes aren't all your garden variety either. Unlike conventional flashlights, you can set your Nicron N7 to "Hight Mode" and " Storbe".
But wait, there's more! Storbe, SOS and Off are all hidden modes, so "No Need To Repeat The Annoying Loop Operation". This light makes working on your car's inner panel "effortless" and at "full vision". And critically, it comes with the ability to be put in your freezer, for use in rainy season, snow season or emergency situations!

I like single AA flashlights.
QuoteConveniently powered for several hours with a single AA battery or a 14500 rechargeable battery. (Not including Batteries )
Try a Ni-MH cell in it. With many such lights Ni-MH gives the longest runtimes and light output comparable to a regular alkaline AA.
Dang i missed that...it is $18.99 now.
