Every once in a while, reading just for entertainment, one of my favorite 3 book series is "One Second After
By William R. Forstchen · 2011.   I'll read the series every 4 or 5 years, usually long enough to forget details.
This one is a result of an EMP rather than zombies but still a decent bit of entertainment.

It's a great series! Forstchen does such a good job of detailing the whole scenario; he has a real knack for making it seem totally possible.
