Home Healthcare / Home Nursing Supplies
« on: June 13, 2021, 10:30:35 AM »
For caring for the sick or injured at home.  Thinking through what I already have that might be needed:

clay hot/cold packs & hot water bottle
rinse free soap & body wipes
basins & bedside bucket
backrest support pillow
bedpan & urinal
crutches & wheelchair
PPE (masks & gloves)

And think I need to get:

bed tray table for eating and playing games
waterproof mattress covers
gait belt / lift aid
shower / tub seat
compression stockings

What else am I missing, either for the person recuperating or the caregiver?

A desk bell the patient can use to signal for the caregiver.

Or www.amazon.com/Retevis-Talkies-Rechargeable-Display-Weather/dp/B08TBGCHSW or similar.

VOX mode might be handy in some cases, almost like a baby monitor.  One that could be locked so the person couldn't accidentally change the channel / DCS setting would be a nice feature too, not sure if that one does or not.

Puppy training pads, but maybe stored in a different bag...
