Don't know why it posted those videos twice?

It's a 6 months lease. Still looking for something similar on the main island. As long term that's where I want to live. But if this is all we can find it's a gem. Beyond the insanely cheap price. Finding privacy like this is rare. Most places are built close together. With a shit load of neighors, chickens, dogs and karaoke. So I'll take it.

We tour it on the 2nd. But in the meantime were going to keep searching the main island for a rental like this. I want to live here at least 6 months to a year. Before deciding to buy anything.

In the meantime I'll tour properties. And meet with architects, builders, and real estate attorneys. Buying even just land is complicated here. And requires a real estate attorney and a lot of research. Titles on each property are not always recorded at the hourt house like is routine in the US. Many aren't even surveyed. Many are though. But you have to research clear ownership. And then there are several organizations and entities that routinely question ownership of what might be contested or indigenous land. So it's a lengthy legal process. You're attorney has to document thoroughly.

How much land comes with that rental? That's a long road. I'm assuming the whole thing is getting 'paved' with shoveled stone. Does it look like there might be any rain washes or previous washouts across it that could block your ingress/egress after a typhoon?

We drove by there yesterday. And decided to keep looking. We found another house were touring Sunday. The neighorhood of that house above was just sort of weird. My gf didn't feel comfortable staying there while I am gone. I have to return to the US for 3 weeks. Coming back on the 29th.

The location was great. In terms of rain etc. We are well versed in bad roads. That first condo I stayed in. While beautiful and on the beach. Came with a 4 wheel drive course of a road that flooded every other day.

The one above was very private. The house was almost new. But the road there included a steel scrap yard and several bamboo homes that seemed unkempt. No kids. No dogs. Like hard to tell who lived there. Just not a great vibe.

We're gonna keep looking until the 4th when I leave. And if we don't find anything. She'll just stay someplace temporary. And we'll continue looking when I get back. We're not in a rush. And frankly we'd like to find something in the main island.

Meanwhile I forgot to extend this place. Lmao! Have to be out in 20 minutes. Found a place to go to tho.
