Definitely too good to be true.  While most places on the product page have "-20" in the product name, every place specifying the temperature rating lists it as "20".

This is, at best, a 20 degree bag.  For starters, it's offset quilt construction (basically two sewn thru taffeta-insulation-taffeta sandwiches, arrayed so the sewn-thru seams don't line up, avoiding cold spots).  That's a cheap manufacturing alternative to boxed baffle construction, which is more expensive, but yields a lighter, warmer bag.  Boxed baffle is what I'd expect to see in a true negative 20 degree bag that weighs anything less than 5 pounds.

For what it's worth, $90 isn't a terrible price for a relatively light (for man-made insulation) 20 degree bag.  Especially with that muted FDE color.  A couple of those in the back of your car would be a real help in a winter roadside emergency.

And I'd also be wary of the fact that the title says -20, but the specs says it's 20 degree rated, not -20.
I wouldn't worry to much about campsaver. Its been around for decades. But you never know.

I was more wondering if bags that light had come down in price for some reason. A 2.5lb bag for less than $100 is pretty impressive. Even if its 20f. I didn't get a read on volume. But historically wiggys have been the only bag to come close to that in a synthetic, are twice as expensive and weigh a ton for a hiking sleeping bag.

In a brief peruse I couldn't find a recent top ten review that mentioned anything about this. But even as a cheap car bag its a hell of a deal. I also saw alot if no name brand too sellers on Amazon. But have not read reviews. Maybe China started oroducing some cheaper insulations? Idk.

Yeah, the specs and price seem very reasonable for a legit 20 degree bag.  As long as you don't go into the purchase expecting something that'll keep you toasty down to negative 20 degrees, this looks like a pretty decent buy.

Something else I think I can say in Slumberjack's favor: I read somewhere that they're extra roomy for a mummy bag, especially around the shoulder area and foot box.  So you don't feel quite so claustrophobic, especially if you're not quite as trim and svelte as we all were when we were younger.  Judging from the pictures on the Campsaver website, that certainly looks to be the case.

I usually buy a bag with the philosophy that its realistic rating is 20f above its stated rating.

I'm still blown away that alot of down bags in this category are $400-$500+. Certainly smaller. But I remember not long ago being happy to find a $150 bag in the 5lb range. Half the weight as an mss basically. Even at a solid 20f rating in these at 2.5lbs its astounding. I would give that a try in all 3 seasons. Not 4. But still.
