Former ZS'er. It'd been years since I'd visited the forum. Not sure why I stopped going to it... just that it was not someplace I visited any more.

Anyway, I was doctor_zombie there, and I'm doctor_zombie here... and I went searching for the old site because - for recent developments and reasons that should not be mentioned lest they violate the rules - I felt it would be a good idea to start thinking in terms of survival and bugging out and stuff again.

So, hey everyone. Thanks for keeping the dream alive.

Actually... at first, my name was a play on the old, awesome idea of late night horror hosts. It was my mad scientist alter ego. But, now I'm working on my doctorate (not in zombies, but in English literature). I'm an ABD of zombies! Although, I do teach at a college level and I'm an expert in the works of H.P. Lovecraft and weird fiction, so maybe for accuracy - it should be Professor Zombie?!

Too late now, I guess.
