Best manual can opener?

I've been using an electric can opener for decades. The EU style (that cuts the lip and leaves no sharp edges) is far superior to the US version. Cuts better, holds the can better. But the US version allows you to drain the can. Like tuna or vegetables. So we suffer thru with the US electric version. That does a crappy job of holding the can. But it's fast and works. And electric is essential if your making chili or anything that requires you open a bunch of cans.

But everytime I buy a backup manual can opener it SUCKS!

The only one I haven't tried are the cheap sheet metal ones. I haven't used one of those in decades. Or hardly any manual ones. Except the few I've bought and thrown away. I don't remember manual can openers sucking so bad. But my experience goes back to the 80s probably. When things were still made in the US.

Most of the manual ones don't grab or don't cut well. Or both.

Any recommendations?
