Among other recommendations, restaurants/food counters have been advised to have "grab and go" type meals ready and to offer a limited menu for the day before, day of and day after.
Our BIGGEST week at work (sales and foot traffic) is usually the 4th of July week. We have around 7000 customers for that WEEK. We have been advised that the store will possibly get that many each DAY for the 7th, 8th & 9th.
So, yeah, little towns in the path are a bit freaked out right now.
