For the rest of us, hearing those words sounds more like Tiny Tim singing "WAP" by Nicki Minaj. :gonk:
How do I insert the Captain Mal speechless gif here?

Everything I ever need to know in life I learned in the criminally short 19 episodes of Firefly.

Yea, obviously, but how do I add a gorram functioning gif in my comment?

Use the 'insert picture' icon on the toolbar.  Paste in the gif address just like you would with a regular image.
A post-apocalyptic tale of love, loss and redemption. And zombies!

Huh, that didn't work for me.  Maybe I just had a bad source link.  Will have to look more into it tomorrow when I'm not dog tired.  DANKE!

On topic, make sure you have a towel in your supplies!  More than one may be useful, but you should always have at least one.

Quotesimply think it can't happen to them.
This. And the people that think this also can't be shaken from their belief that if it ever did.  Help would be instantaneous
A memory just popped into my old brain.  We had a hurricane here back around 2012, I think it was, - Irene, maybe? - anyway, once we finally got electricity back (ten days later) we were watching the local news with people in the city and 'burbs fussing that all the downed trees hadn't been cleaned up out of the road still and they interviewed one guy who was absolutely ranting about nobody coming to his house to take care of the tree.

The tree that was his tree that had fallen across his own driveway on his own property...

I really wanted a followup on that guy.  How long was it before he figured out it was his responsibility (or did he ever)?  Did he ever stop griping about how some entity had let him down and made him pay for that tree?  Does he still bring it up at family gatherings where all the kids roll their eyes at crazy old Gramps and his fallen tree tale of woe?

Something similar happened here, but with a much sadder outcome.  During a recent series of storms, we had a number of small tornadoes which hit.  A woman was killed in her house in Lansing, MI due to a tree falling on it.  Afterwards, her family went on the news, berating the local government for not taking care of the tree, despite years of complaints about it.

Outrage!  The government's inability to deal with basic safety cost a grandmother her life!  They... uh...  what do you mean the tree was on her neighbor's property, and the city has no responsibility whatsoever?...  Who cares about legalities!!  We need someone to blame that isn't the person next door that we've been friends with for years!!

These days tragedy is always the fault of others and a lawsuit is the only way to correct the tragedy. Sadly there are a lot more less scrupulous lawyers these days that take on such nutty cases.
