Other than the recent Morocco earthquate, a magnitude 6.1ish earthquake hit north of Luzon, Philippines. Thankfully it was nowhere near people so I don't think there were casualties. Would he horrible if there were since that part of our country is still recovering from a recent powerful typhoon.

Any other natural disasters I missed? It's hard to keep track and some are kept a little hushed.

You've heard of the recent flooding in Libya, right?

Last I checked, the death toll there was around 8K and expected to rise.

Holy cow. I don't think I got wind of that. That's something very major but I don't think news agencies around here talked about that, or if they did, didn't talk about it too long. I understand that we have our own problems in our backyard but we could have been at least informed.

Also another 6-ish earthquake a couple days ago, near the old epicenter.

World's pretty shaky right now.

Yeah, here in the US, the Libya flooding was on the news for like a week or two.

After that, nothing.

flybynight

There was a 6.6 in Japan today that caused a small tsunami . Other than that , looks like mostly normal ring of fire quakes .  Small one in Poland, Small one in Puerto Rica .
