Fires in Colorado

Some of you are likely aware, but there are some pretty serious fires in Colorado. In the Lafayette and surrounding area. I have friends and family in the area. Pictures are intense.

One article I read said at the time, 500 homes had been destroyed and large evacuations were happening.

Something to keep an eye on and lots of lessons to be learned.

The Red Cross asked me if I'd deploy from Houston to do a 14 day stint volunteering at an emergency shelter in CO. Alas, I can't at this time. :( Looking at the devastation, it's hard not to flashback to hurricane Harvey, but via fire.  :-[
