They are great lights for any emergency vehicle kit. Or even in your home.

But I realized the magnet attachment attaches to the hard top screw directly above the rear view mirror.

Makes an excellent dome light. Since there isn't one. And the sound bar light is so weak. It does have three button settings. On low, on high, off and strobe. So you have to click it more than once if you want low or high or want to avoid the strobe.

But other than that it makes an excellent dome light that lights up the entire front of the cab.

My apologies for no night shots. But it's very bright. Not annoyingly so. But very bright. Lights up the whole cab. And no installation necessary. Plus you get two them. And you can quickly place one in your engine bay. That will l
ight up the entire thing.

Nice!  That's not a use that I'd considered, but I don't have any vehicles with exposed metal to attach it to.  So the magnet is strong enough to keep it in place over bumps and such?

Yes. There is a big screw head there. That holds the t-top like front roof pieces on. It's like a clamp held in with a big screw.

Maybe not four wheeling really hard. But driving all over town and bumps it's never fallen. The entire inside of may Jeep is metal. You could place it just about anywhere.

These lights are great btw! I would never had considered them without your reviews. I have a big pile of halogen shop lights on stands in my garage. Makes me laugh. What a pain in the ass those were. They may light up a bit more. But I'd rather deal with these deck of cars size lights. And just move them closer. But even so these light up a room well enough. And a vehicle really well.

Changing a tire or in the engine bay? These are perfect. And sooo small!
